Ron Rutland, owner of Summitreks outdoor stores in Coniston, Hawkshead and Ambleside recently climbed the summit of Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world.

Ron has over 40 years of climbing experience and along with a team of dedicated fellow adventurers they took up the challenge scaling over 8,000 metres in height. They reached the summit on October 4th where they were met by fantastic scenery.
