Well the brasher Festival Frisbees really took off this week at Bank Holiday Monday Evolution Extravaganza.
Our 'on-the-spot' reporter and party girl Sue filed this report from the front of the gig:
"The festival season officially kicked off on Bank Holiday Monday at the Newcastle/Gateshead Evolution Festival and the crowd couldn’t get enough of brasher festival Frisbees.
While 60,000 people across two sites, on both sides of The River Tyne, bounced up and down to bands such as CSS, The Streets and Reverend & The Makers, the Frisbees were flying through the crowd, being thrown up in the air and even landing on the stage for various performers to play with.
By the end of the night, revellers scrambled for leftover Frisbees to take home with them. The odd one was even seen floating in the River Tyne!"
We'll keep you posted on all the Festival Frisbee news as it happens throughout the summer.
And don't forget for any frisbee photos you send in, there are pairs of super-comfy brasher 'Festival Socks' to be won.
